Plant Research Clusters

European Plant Science Ooganisations (EPSO)- this independent body represents more than fifty leading reseach institutions from twenty three European countries. EPSO wants to improve the impact and visability of plant science in Europe.

Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center- this centre unites three Universities, one research institute, and more than twenty research groups.

Virtual Institute of Bioinformatics Eire (VIBE) – Eleven research groups are gathered together in this virtual institute.

Ireland’s National Platform for Biodiversity Research – this platform is comprised of forty members and is focussed on lobbying for dedicated funding windows for biodiversity research in Ireland.

Molecular Medicine Ireland (MMI) – this centre is comprised of five Universities and six hospitals and its aim is to speed up the translation of advances in science into new drugs, devices and diagnostics that will improve the health of people in Ireland.
